Marvin Boateng serves as the VP of Credit at AltCap, bringing nearly 20 years of expertise in small business lending and more than 15 years of experience creating and managing loan programs and providing technical assistance. Throughout his career, he has helped over 500 businesses secure more than $100 million in funding, resulting in the creation of over 3,000 jobs and 500 childcare slots in high-priority areas in California, Texas, Missouri, Kansas.
Marvin is a Certified Valuation Analyst, an alumnus of the African American Board Leadership Institute (AABLI), and a certified Economic Development Financial Professional (EDFP). Marvin holds dual bachelor’s degrees in African American Studies and Economics from California State University, Northridge, as well as a Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from California Lutheran University.
